QOD:
In the French Revolution - after the first Constitution was passed (Constitution of 1791) - which created a Limited Monarch sharing power between Louis XVI and the Legislative Assembly - the new French Government had a problem - in that the elected officials to the NEW government were more radical than the elected officials which CREATED the new government. Why did that happen in France? OR Why might newer government officials be more progressive/radical than the old government officials in the middle of a political revolution?
